Its monsoon again….. The rain gods have shown some great liking for Shimla this year… it has been raining all summer and is in no mood to stop….>The monsoons Stir up different kind of emotions for Different people… ..some are Estatic about the rain and some exasperated by the roaring clouds . Actually i feel that the moonsoon and the whole ambience it creates by its presense acts as a catalyst to the reaction of our life…If your life is Going it in the happy Direction then It Amplifies your joy and if you are in a sad mood It will make yoU Feel Suicidal….

I used to love Such Dark Clouds and rain Earlier Because all that they made me think of was a warm bed,some Great music and Forgetting the School Homework and happily sharing a meal with the family on a rainy Day…. !it was real fun….But the winter and monsoon of 2008 have Completely Changed my Fondness for the rain…The burden of preparing for my boards in march took out the amusement of the winter and the snow. . The clouds then made me tense… and now in the summer rain it makes me feel lonely. Last year While in school all of us (friends) were together and every day was something new at the school (:Except for the maths class which CONSTANTLY was my personal retreat into the world of Dreams:) ) Spending time Alone may be A good Idea for a short while. But quickly the inherent desire for Company will take you over .. and this rain Does not help now.. Since last December the school has closed and the meetings with Dearest pals and the FRENETIC laughter has become less and less by the day..

The unholy jokes, the out of the world pure bakwaas ,and making Fun of each other and laughing VIOLENTLY ….I just miss my Schoolmates and The Most Special Friendships i have made over the last few years ….

So as i m am writing this and the rain is pouring Down I am just Too bored of this SEason.. God its Enough now ..ARe you going to MAke Shimla THE most rainly place in the whole wide world…????? Go to the Deserts!!! !PEople want u There.. Goodbye!!!!!

Dreams and desires come naturally to us human beings. all of us like to fantasize and crave to some sort of accomplishment. we are always yearning for something. each moment of our life is inadvertently dedicated to attain our goals set in mind. My personal experience has taught me that that fulfillment of small small whims and fancies of kids and teenagers may only help build up their character. during this time the strongest of ambition losses its sheen very quickly and unknowingly. So their unattended demands or demands fulfilled after imposing a long wait for their realization takes the real fun out of getting them. Now the interest that may have build into a life long passion fades away and some other thing comes to the mind. the wishes which are more fiscal in nature(like a video game, a guitar or laptop) can only be got through parents at this age. but there are other types of wishes too. the human need of Appreciation ,of good friends, of love, of support, of being heard are also to be realized . But its all upto Yourself this time .one has to make his own place for somebody to give to lend an ear to you. Emotional Stability can also be got if you fulfill your small wishes and value yourself .if u cant get your dream thousands of thoughts occupy your mind which otherwise would have been busy realizing our liking to its real worth . . . …. and while your are going for your BIG goal in life never forget the small little wishes along the path which give you huge amount of satisfaction an happiness.

The time of the year is here again……. nervous students hovering all around for Admissions. The most important chapter in the life of a student is about to unfold and all of us are waiting eagerly,nervously and yet unknowingly about there future. The time has come when we’ll put behind the love ,affection and care showered by our parents and all near and dear ones. A leap into the future. Its a mixed bag feeling. On one hand you think of the new kind of life in an optimistic way and then suddenly the memory of the past two decades come up. Smallest of things about your town like the streets and shops, to all the sexy girls in your locality all are missed. A felling of brokenness is more so much more if you are not going to the place of your your choice .Even I will have to go. I feel traumatized thinking that ill b parted from all of my friends who are my lifeline. Even more i feel where is the need to do this? Why to part from your loved ones when this life is so unpredictable??? But as they say meeting and parting is the eternal rule of life. May be we have to settle scores with some other people!!!!! lolz!!!!

Kotkhai – A Minute Heaven

The beauty of the flower is unfolded slowly and steadily as it turns from a bud to a flower. Like wise, the beauty of Himachal Pradesh is incomplete in its first glance. To know, appreciate and enjoy Himachal it has to be explored and known thoroughly and Kotkhai, situated 70 kms. away from Shimla is an ideal destination to feel the real spirit of Himachal.

The place is called Kotkhai due to the palace of the king on the cliff (Kot – Palace, Khai – Cliff). The old palace is situated beautifully on a cliff with a tributary of Giri Ganga flowing below it. 12 km from Kotkhai, is a village called Kiari. Lush green apple orchids,pine trees and a picturesque temple of Godess Mahamai and Lankra Veer are the main attractions here. One can enjoy absolute
tranquility and peace of ‘Nera-Ghati’ and the ‘Kiala Forest’.

A beautiful pond named ‘Dhilon’ is situated in the centre of the forest and believed to be divine by local people. Also all modern amenities are available here, but a major the tourism is not well developed and is compensated by the generous and extremely helpful people who generally shelter people from outside.

Every month and season had its own specialty here, so a visit at any time of the year will give you maximum satisfaction. The nearest rest house is Murti Guest House in Kothai and Hotel Apple Crown at Dumehar.
